Child care subsidy helps eligible Manitoba families pay for licensed child care. This estimator will help you to check if you are eligible for child care subsidy and for what amount.
To be eligible for child care subsidy, you must be a resident of Manitoba during the subsidy period and have a child attending a licensed child care facility.
School age are children younger than 13 years and enrolled in grade one to grade six in a school.
Preschool are children who are two years old or older and younger than six years, and who are not enrolled in grade one in a school.
Infants are children younger than 2 years.
For each of your children, please select the type of child care facility, how many hours per day and how many days per week child care is needed.
Subsidy for licensed child care is only for families living in Manitoba. The number of adults and children living together is used to help estimate the family net income. Cost of living is estimated differently for families living in Northern Manitoba above the 53rd parallel.
